Zinco UK Increase Molten Storage Capacity!
Zinco UK have just taken delivery of a new 60T portable furnace. We understand the flexibility that is demanded by our customers and the need for small vessels in plants with low roof heights. It can be in used in combination with our existing equipment or the use of zinc moulds. This now brings the total amount of molten storage capacity for Zinco UK to 220T! Coupled with our 200T capacity in moulds there are very few kettles we can’t handle!
Zinco into Norway.
.
Thanks to our excellent working relationship with the Saferoad Group, Zinco UK has recently braved the colds of Norway to help another customer discover the condition of their galvanizing kettle. Within a day we were able to inspect their kettle and provide them with information that has shown them that their kettle needed replacing. This is now in the planning process and the information provided by Zinco UK helped to prevent a possible zinc leak.
Technical excellence. . . . . . .
Once again Zinco has shown itself to be the “go to” company for all aspects of galvanizing. Our fourth annual technical day was help by our sister company Zinco Service SRL in Brescia, Italy. It brought together experts from all aspects of the galvanizing industry, including guests from Austria, Australia and Taiwan to name a few. The theme of this year’s day was “The world is flat”. This was due to the focus being on how the world is a smaller place due to faster communication and easier travel, and the effect of this on the galvanizing industry. There was also talk of the developments in the Australian and Asian galvanizing industry, and the effects these developments are having on the European market. Further information was discussed on the global steel markets and changes to the way architects are using steel in a more sustainable way.
The conference went really well and people are already talking about next year. . . . . . .
